Ernst Schilling reported a new and unknown mark of Reykjavik. The new mark is 16 mm long. The complete cover is exhibited in the gallery; look for “Reykjavik unlisted” please!

An unlisted Paquebot mark of Larnaca is now discovered. It is similar to Larnaca # 1074 but 4 mm longer therefore 34 mm. The usage is evidenced for 1988 and 1989. You will find 4 covers postmarked by this cancel in the gallery under the catchword “Larnaca unlisted”.

Ein noch nicht katalogisierter Stempel von Larnaca ist aufgetaucht. Er sieht so ähnlich aus wie Larnaca # 1074 ist aber 4 mm länger, also 34 mm lang. Nachgewiesen ist bisher eine Verwendung von 1988 bis 1989. In der Galerie sind unter dem Stichwort “Larnaca unlisted” 4 Belege ausgestellt.

A new Paquebot-cds of Portland/Oregon is stated now. It is similar to #2112 but the inscription “PAQUEBOT PORTLAND, OR” covers a circular arc of 205° only, the #2112 mark needs 245°. The unlisted mark has smaller characters; best visible at the letters P,U and R. You see the unknown mark in the picture below on the left and middle. On the right side is the Portland #2112. The complete cover is exhibited in the gallery as “Portland/Oregon unlisted (A)”.

Es wurde ein noch nicht katalogisierter Paquebot-Einkreisdatumsstempel von Portland/Oregon entdeckt. Er ist dem Stempel #2112 recht ähnlich. Die Inschrift “PAQUEBOT PORTLAND, OR” deckt aber nur einen Kreisbogen von ca. 205° ab, wogegen der bekannte Stempel #2112 einen Bogen von 245° bedeckt. Außerdem ist die Schrift kleiner; gut zu sehen an den Buchstaben P,U und R. Auf dem Bild unten ist der unbekannte Stempel links und in der Mitte dargestellt. Rechts ist Stempel #2112 zum Vergleich zu sehen. Der komplette Beleg ist in der Galerie unter “Portland/Oregon unlisted” zu finden.

The Paquebot mark Halifax #2225, used 1916, is now proven for Quebec in 1915.

Der Paquebotstempel Halifax #2225, 1916 im Gebrauch, ist auch in Quebec verwendet worden, allerdings bereits 1915.

Dirk Stratmann found an unlisted boxed Paquebot mark of Kuantan (Malaysia) used 1994. The frame is 59 x 9 mm and the text 54 mm. You find the cover in the gallery when you enter “Kuantan unlisted” in the search field.

Dirk Stratmann hat einen noch unbekannten Paquebotstempel von Kuantan (Malaysia), der 1994 verwendet wurde, entdeckt. Der Stempel hat
die Rahmenmaße 59 x 9 mm und das Textmaß 54 mm. Der Beleg ist in der Galerie unter dem Suchwort “Kuantan unlisted” komplett abgebildet.

Has somebody seen an item with this rare mark (Hamburg # 874) cancelled at another date or franked with other than Spanish stamps???

Die gezeigten Belege (Hamburg # 874) weisen alle das gleiche Stempeldatum auf. Gibt es noch andere belegte Abfertigungsdaten, sind noch andere Verwendungen dokumentiert, evtll. auch mit anderen als spanischen Marken???
