This extraordinary and early cover was offered at the 8th Christoph-Gärtner Auction november 2008 for 1200 EURO and sold for 2100 EURO and described as follow: 1883, 5 sen ultra perf. 13 canc. black “I.J.P.O. GENSAN 15 VI 1894” w. framed “PAQUEBOT” alongside on cover (file fold and slight rubbings on top, slightly affecting stamp), circular brown (oxydized vermillion?) “GEN T” plus “25. Ctms.”, two transits of Nagasaki 6/20 and 6/25, also “YO/T” w. “YOKOHAMA 28.VI 1894” on back, to Germany w. backstamp “KIEL 6.8.94” and large blue ms. “40” due amount. Underpaid for the full UPU rate of 10 sen. Only a handfull of small Gensan (Wonsan) latin taxmarks on cover reported.
